Ah, good old Vitamin C. Doesn’t Degrade– L-ascorbic acid is more unstable than Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate so when it is introduced to light and air, it begins to degrade and then oxidize (turn orange and brown) and the ingredients lose their potency. THDA on the other hand, won’t destabilize, lasting way longer.
