I’m sure you have plenty of questions and we are at your disposal. One question that gets thrown around a lot is when should I book my wedding makeup services?
Early bird catches the BEST artists
Every company is different, but you’re more likely to lock in the services and artists you want if you book EARLY! We’ve seen articles throwing out random time frames all the time, but if you want a studio with experience and expertise, you’ll want to book at least a year in advance. (614 Beauty books as early as two years out.). Now, if you’re like me (total procrastinator here) and your wedding is less than a year away, it’s still possible, depending on date and availability of course, to secure services. We do highly recommend though that you book well in advance not just for scheduling, but for you the bride!
Booking Early doesn’t mean you have to have everything figured out
Just because you have your appointment set, doesn’t mean you have to know exactly the hair and makeup you want on your wedding day. We know you can start off wanting a particular look and several months later, decide on something different. Booking early just means you are getting the company and the artists that you can trust with your style. We suggest booking a trial too!
Trials ftw!
We love to hear from our current and future clients, and when you book a trial along with your wedding day makeup and hair, you’re getting peace of mind for your wedding look. You might have a certain look (that you’ve dreamed about literally since you were like 8 years old) in mind that you come to your trial wanting and end up deciding, after communicating with your artist, that it needs some tweaking. If you don’t book a trial, that’s not to say that you’re going to be “stuck” with a look you don’t like. Great makeup artists know what they’re doing and will still make your wedding day look exactly what you want. The trial is just a way to explore options, get to know your artist, and give you that extra confidence that everything is going according to plan. We suggest you book your trial when you initially book your wedding day makeup and hair.
